I have always loved your photos! I have to ask, what camera and lenses do you use? I have a pretty tough time getting close enough to any wild birds to get a good shot of them.

Thanks very much, I am using a Canon 7d with a Canon 4005.6 prime as my main bird lens, but I use a Sigma 50-500 for a lot of my wildlife and lightning photographs. As far as getting close to your subject, it takes time and patience. For every photo you see posted there are probably 50 missed photos because of distance, lighting or composition issues. Best of luck on the trail!:):):):):):):)
