I watched these merlins for a couple of weeks during the raptor migration. This is the third year I have seen them in the exact same tree at the exact same time of year. They stay around this tree for about an hour in the early morning. Of all the meals they brought to this tree, this was very unexpected.
I cant wait for next fall.
